Rob Burke and Kenny Werner CD Lauch Event

Kenny Werner is a New York jazz pianist who has performed and recorded with some of the finest jazz musicians including Toot Thilemans and Joe Lovano. Kenny will be artist in residence at the Sir Zelman Cowen School of Music in August.

On 27 August he presents an album recorded with Rob Burke in New York in October 2013 with bassist Johannes Wiedermueller and drummer Rickie Barshay. For the Australian CD Launch (through Jazzhead) Robert and Kenny will be joined by bassist Ben Robertson and drummer Tony Floyd and will perform compositions by Kenny, Rob and Paul Grabowsky.

Kenny Werner is a world-class jazz pianist and composer. His prolific output of compositions, recordings and publications continue to impact audiences around the world.
