JAZZHEAD SUNDAYS: FEATURING DODGE

We are thrilled to announce our free Jazzhead Sundays series: weekly afternoon sessions of glorious music at Lady Grange in St Kilda. We will be presenting a variety of artists from the Jazzhead and Head Records labels at this weekly event. Including any interstate guests who might happen to be in town!

To kick things off we present Dodge (Rob Burke, Stephen Hadley, James Black and Mike Jordan), performing this Sunday 26 October.

Dodge's jazz / groove ethos sees our intrepid explorers acoustically travel the more funky, soul side of jazz. Offline, the band's CD debut, holds the door open for serious improvisation and their organic, spontaneous approach is free of pretensions. There are no bittersweet chord clusters and no "look at me playing". Offline not only feels good but is good for you.
