Grace (Oehlers and Keevers)

Jamie Oehlers, winner of the 2003 White Foundation World Saxophone Competition at the Montreux Jazz Festival held in Switzerland, and Sam Keevers, recognised as one of Australia’s finest pianists come together on the duet CD Grace. Drawing inspiration from classic duos such as Herbie Hancock and Wayne Shorter, Stan Getz and Kenny Barron, and Art Tatum and Ben Webster, Grace's original compositions represent a fusion of the player's individual eclectic tastes, and personifies the freedom, intensity, and use of space that the duo format creates.
