Established to release great new Australian Jazz in its various forms. Concentrating on the progressive sounds of jazz while maintaining general accessibility. From its inception, Jazzhead has pursued excellence in music and provided an outlet for great work.

Award winning artists on Jazzhead include Jamie Oehlers, Way Out West, Joe Chindamo, Kristin Berardi, Julien Wilson, Barney McAll, Ben Winkelman, Andrea Keller, Allan Browne; all of whom tour internationally as well as nationally.

15 years on, Jazzhead, now Australia's leading jazz label, still presents The New Sounds and is releasing more innovative artists from the movers and shakers of Australian jazz.
